What you can do
A weekly calendar of open windows
Add the weekly windows each person or room is open. See the week or a single day, with every slot marked open or booked.
Book into an open window
The front desk books a session into an open window. A window that is already taken is refused.
A roster for every session
Pick a session to see who is booked and who has arrived. Check people in from the list, or mark them as attended.
Scan a pass at the door
Open the camera and scan the attendee's pass. A match checks them in, and a second scan of the same pass records nothing twice.
Time entries for hours worked
Log the hours a staff member actually worked, against a booking or on their own, apart from what was booked.
Commission, entered by a manager
Review the commission a manager recorded for a period, person by person, next to the hours logged. The figure is entered, never calculated.
A second person approves payment
Approving a commission for payment needs someone other than the person who requested it.
Staff names stay private
Staff names on the calendar only show to people with permission to see staff details. Everyone else still sees the full schedule.

Questions about Services & Appointments
Something else? hello@spaceosapp.com
- Does SpaceOS work out commission for me?
- No. A manager enters the commission figure, and the review screen shows it next to the hours logged. It is a record of a decision, never a calculation.
- Can I check people in without a scanner?
- Yes. Check anyone in from the roster list. Scanning uses the camera on any phone or laptop whose browser allows it.
- What is the difference between a booking and a time entry?
- A booking is what was planned. A time entry is the hours someone actually worked, so a class that ran 15 minutes over can be logged as it happened.
- Who can see which staff member is on duty?
- Only people with permission to see staff details. Others see the same open and booked windows with the names held back.
