Every ticket comes with a QR, a short code, a printable PDF and a calendar invite. Saved to a phone wallet, it changes when your plans do.

  • A new date, time or venue updates on the holder's phone.
  • A refunded, voided or cancelled ticket shows as void.
  • Each extra ticket holder gets their own ticket, and Share sends only theirs.

The gate

Any phone at any door. One big answer per scan.

Ushers sign in with their own account, pick their door and tap Start scanning. Each answer has its own colour and sound, readable from arm's length in a queue.

  • VALID, RE-ENTRY, ALREADY USED, INVALID, WRONG ADD-ON and REVIEW REQUIRED.
  • Re-entry per event or ticket type: not allowed, once, 2, 3 times or unlimited.
  • Two doors scanning one ticket at the same moment let it in only as often as the rule allows.
  • Find a ticket by phone, name or ref when a QR won't scan. Overrides are recorded under the usher's name.

When plans change

Refunds, cancellations and date moves in a few clicks

Move or cancel a day and choose what holders get. Everyone is emailed, the page shows the change, and the cancelled day stops scanning.

  • Refund a whole order or only the tickets you tick, back to the way the buyer paid.
  • Holders of a cancelled day choose another day or a refund on their own page.
  • Anyone who hasn't chosen by the deadline is refunded automatically.
  • Pause ticket sales and resume them when you're ready.

Questions organisers ask

Do buyers need to create an account?
No. They pick a day, their tickets and any workshops, answer your questions and pay. Every seat in the basket is held for 15 minutes while they finish. Tickets arrive by email, and a sign-in link lets them find every ticket later under My tickets.
What do door staff need on the night?
A phone with a camera. Each usher signs in with their own account, picks their door and taps Start scanning. There is no app to install and no PIN to remember. If a QR won't scan, they find the ticket by phone number, name or ticket ref.
Can one ticket get in twice?
Only if you allow it. Set re-entry for the event or for one ticket type: not allowed, once, 2 times, 3 times or unlimited. When two doors scan the same ticket at the same moment, it gets in only as often as the rule allows.
What happens when I move or cancel a day?
You choose what holders get: a move to another day or a refund by a deadline, a refund for everyone now, or simply a message. Everyone is emailed, the event page shows the change, and tickets saved in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet update on their phones.
Can I sell workshops with limited seats next to day tickets?
Yes. Each workshop has its own seats and price, and you decide whether buyers need a ticket for that day first. Workshop and day entry ride on the same QR, and a workshop scan never uses up a visitor's day entry.
Can tickets sell on my own web address?
Every event gets a free address at events.spaceosapp.com/yourname. You can also connect your own domain to one event, to an organiser or to your events list, and checkout stays on that domain.
Which payment providers can I use?
Ticket checkout takes payment through PortPos today. Stripe, PayPal, 2C2P, bKash, SSLCommerz and Nagad are coming to ticket checkout. You connect your own account in Settings, run a small test payment, and the money goes straight to you.
